Jiří HeneberkPartner and founder of Compllex. He set up
Compllex in 2004. As referential projects led by Jiri in Compllex, we
can name licensing of REICO investment firm of Ceska sporitelna, a.s. and
first real estate fund, consultancy and implementation of MIFID
regulation for the Czech National Bank or the Czech banking association,
UniCredit Bank Czech Republic a.s. or Komerční banka, a.s.;
implementing BASEL II regulation in RSJ a.s.
Jiří attended
several education trainings abroad, especially organized by an
International Swaps and
Derivatives Association, Inc. (ISDA). He established himself as an
active member of an expert group for the Czech banking association´s
capital market. Jiří is a holder of brokerage licences type A, AD and
C. He is often invited as a lecturer to conferences concerning
financial services regulation.
Jiří
graduated at the Faculty of Law, Charles University, in 2000. During
his studies he already specialised in financial market issues
(graduation theses on the regulation of collective investment,
dissertation focused on legal aspects of financial derivatives). During
his studies, he worked in an investment firm OB Invest, a.s. ČSOB, a.s. In 2000 he was offered a place
in Komerční banka, a.s., within a new team reforming bank´s legal
section for its upcoming privatization , where he soon became a
regional legal manager responsible for ensuring legal assistance,
especially to sectors of investment banking, risk operations and sales
departments of Prague´s headquarters.
Zuzana Klatovská
Partner of Compllex. In 2004 she started working in Compllex, in 2008
she became a partner. Beside business and financial management, Zuzana
is responsible primarily for consultancy activities in the area of
financial-economic aspects of an impact of compliance regulation.
Particularly,
her expertness in financial institutions´s reporting and an
application of Basel II regulation, should be emphasized. Zuzana
is a holder of brokerage licences type B and C.
Zuzana
graduated at the University of Economics in Prague, specialization in
finance. During her studies, she worked as a project manager in sales
department of a specialised production company. From 2004 she worked as
an investment banking product manager in Komerční banka, a.s. She was
responsible for parameters´, process and methodical description of
investment banking products and teams´ coordination. She was
particularly involved in implementing sophisticated structured interest
rate and exotic derivatives and financial market´s emission programs.
Veronika HardtováAssociate of Compllex. From 2008
Veronika is a pernanent co-worker in Compllex. She specializes in
investment services regulation and rules of dealing with clients.
She graduated at the Faculty of Law, Charles University and at
the Univesity of Economics in Prague. Veronika worked for the
Securities Commision from 2000. In 2003 she became a head
of the inspection team of the financial services providers. Her
team was responsible for the execution of state supervision over
investment firms and investment intermediaries. Veronika took part in
preparing implementing regulations for the act 256/2004 Coll., on
Business Activities on the Capital Market, primarily decree that
stipulates detailed rules for prudent provision of investment services
and detailed rules for dealing with the clients. Since March 2005 she
was the head of legal department in AFiZ.
Markéta Smáhová
Associate of Compllex. Since 2011 Markéta is regular
co-worker in Compllex. As a formerly active dealer, she specializes in
practical and financial aspects of the performance of investment
services and risk management.
Markéta Smáhová graduated at University of Economics (VŠE), majoring in
Finance. In 2003 she started to work as a head of sales of bonds for
HVB Bank Czech Republic a.s. (now UniCredit Bank Czech Republic, a.s.),
she cooperated in primary issues of SPT Telecom, CAC Leasing and issues
of mortgage bonds, since 2005 she was engaged in hedging of interest
and currency risk for corporate clients, during the implementation of
MIFID in 2008 she worked for the Customer desk department and financial
institutions sales and as well as trading. Since 2000 she worked at
Conseq Finance, a.s. - the most important non-bank broker of debt
securities – on the position of dealer of state, corporate and and
high-yield bonds to institutional investors – collective investment
funds, insurance companies, pension funds and asset manager companies.
During her studies she already joined Baader Securities in Prague and
its department of settlement of transactions with securities where she
also got acquainted with the functioning of stock markets in practice,
from a position of market marker.
Josef Otčenášek
Josef Otčenášek is a cooperating solicitor, member of the Czech Bar Association (advokát). Josef
focuses primarily on banking, finance and capital markets. His area of practice
also includes insolvency and restructuring, and mergers and acquisitions. Josef is a partner of rutland ježek. Prior to
joining rutland ježek in 2010, Josef worked for ten years at White & Case
in Prague and three years at Havel & Holásek, leading the firm's banking,
finance and capital markets practice.
In its 2006
Chambers Global Guide, Josef was named as a leading individual in the Czech
Republic for banking and finance. In 2008 editions of Chambers Europe and IFLR
1000 Josef was recommended as a Czech legal expert in the area of banking &
finance, capital markets, private equity and corporate law. In the
course of his banking, finance and capital markets practice, Josef has advised
domestic and international financial institutions and other clients in
connection with securities offerings, takeover bids, stock exchange listings,
syndicated lending, acquisition finance, derivatives trading and related
regulatory issues.
Josef
Otčenášek also substantially focuses on legal regulation of derivatives and
other complex financial products and represented a wide range of financial
institutions (including major international investment banks), corporations,
governmental agencies and municipalities in this area. Josef is a
member of the Capital Markets Appeal Committee of the Czech National Bank.
